I won't get there until 11 anyways. Have to drop the kids off at school and load up the bike.

How did you hear about DB?: Followed a link on another website
I assume it would be nice and quiet down there on a weekday early? Last year we used to get there for 10 am on the weekends and would have the place to ourselves until about 1pm. This year chestermans said there has been a line up at 10am of guys waiting to get in on the weekends. Last sunday I think I was the 10th guy at 10am and by 12pm there would have been 8 little kids and at least 20 big bikes, with more people coming.

Quiet is definitely nicer down there, being able to go one and off as you wish and not having to ride in heats.

What did you think of the track this year TF?

I got there around 10:20 and signed in got all set up and was riding around by myself by 10:45 ish. Then 2 other friends came in around 11:30 ish. Around then DaveJ showed up as well, and two others. So 6 of us had the place to ourselves until 1:30 when my 2 buddies left, and it was just the 4 of us for an hour and a half or so. When two other guys showed up. I left around 3ish so I don't know what the evenings are like but weekdays are less crowded.

I really liked the lay out from the first year, but this is my second favourite.

Feb 17th or 18th, anyone?
I'll be there one of those days, I have no preference so far. If anyone can make just let me know.

For all the lucky riders that get out during the week, just passing this on from an email I got.

"Tillsonburg Indoor MX.

Important notice. Please read.

With no sign of warm weather in the forecast we have not been able to get any water on the track for some time. We have come up with a solution but it means we must shut the track down for a couple of days.So..... Here is the plan. Monday and Tuesday Feb 22 & 23rd. The track will be closed. We will be working up the dirt Sunday night after a regular practice day and then hitting the track with a bunch of water and heating the building enough to get the water to soak in before it can freeze.

We want to give riders lots of notice so anyone planning a trip to the track from some distance could adjust their plans. The track remains open this week and weekend and although dry and dusty, it's still lots of fun.

As always, check our website before hauling to insure you remember the hours correctly and that there is not a race."
