The biggest numbering thing I notice while at the GNCC was the the coloured number they give you for the back of your helmet is huge, so there was no dought who you were fallowing. It was a HUGE help. The little round dots we've used in the past just don't cut it. Has this been addressed?

+1...but for some reason it never seems to have caught on up here. It was actually in the CMA rules...but was never, ever enforced (what a surprise.)

A couple of years ago I actually made a bunch of them up (triangular shape works way better than squares or circles by the way) and gave them to a CMA club at sign up. They never even got distributed.

Why people/clubs up here don't do it is beyond me. If the rule book isn't printed yet...this is a good one to stick in it...and enforce.

I could see why the triangle would work better, then there is no way that the goggle strap could cover up most of it. I hope even if it doesn't make it into the ruel book, that race organizers us this system.
