Format:

The basic format of each C.E.C.S event would be consistent with the World Enduro Championship or W.E.C which has proven to be sponsor, spectator, television, competitor and organizer friendly.

Each event would be a two-day enduro based on competitors riding 3 or 4 laps of a trail loop and three different special tests, Extreme or XT, Enduro or ET and Cross or CT. A time schedule would be adhered to by the competitors and organizers and the time allowed would dictate that the speed contest would take only in the confines of the special tests to permit EMS and Spectator access.

The trail loop can be between 45 and 60 kilometers and the average speed would be below 60 kilometers per hour at all times.

The schedule would be designed to encourage travel by each competitor in the Pro Classes to and minimize cross -country travel.

As an example 2 races could be held in Alberta in June of 2008 then the series would move to Ontario and Quebec for three races in September with the final race to be held in Parry Sound, Ontario with an series awards celebration on the final evening of the series.

The class structure would be as in the WEC: E1, E2, E3 and EJ in the Pro class with each of the series races counting towards the 4 Championships.

The Amateur classes would have both West and East championships. The Amateur classes would be awarded trophies only and have a veteran class included. Alternate lines in the XT would be provided around the difficult obstacles. Travel incentives for Pro riders would include free entry fees to nay rider who crosses the Ontario / Manitoba border to compete.

A maximum of 120 riders would be allowed to compete in each event entries are awarded to Pro riders first and on a first come first served basis, the remaining entries available will then be awarded to Amateur riders after a deadline of one month before the event. Pre-entries are encouraged.
